Product description
- Determine the correct finger size for where the ring is worn.
- Cut ring at 6:00 o’clock position; shape to correct ring size.
- Cut Finger Fit at 12:00 o’clock position, shape to correct ring size.
- Match ring and shank on a mandrel. As far from the hinge as practical, mark ring and shank. Cut excess from both. Together they should equal the ring size.
- Solder together, then emery and polish to match and blend.
- Polish and clean the newly assembled ring.
Helpful Hints:
- Use Tix® Anti Flux 54-4024 to prevent solder flow into the hinge area.
- Avoid filing and hammering in the hinge area to assure precision and durability.
- For replacement hinge or wire, request item SH42X.
