1. Size ring to proper size and round out (size to fit over the knuckle for sizer attachment) Do not round out ring after the component is installed as this will effect the alignment of attachment.

2. Measure and remove metal at the bottom to replace with the component.
3. Be sure to properly align the component
4. If there is a taper adjust the angle to account for the taper so the attachment will properly slide on after soldering.(to check for this before soldering, tack the component in place, attach and detach the attachment to check for clearance.)
5. Solder component in place (keep all solder clear of moving clasp)
6. Once Soldered, blend to ring. Do not over file/Polish around the clasp area or pegs as this will affect the connection.
Connections can be put in pickle, can be rhodium plated, and hard solder can be used.
